I Hold Her Hand June 24, 2003I hold her hand Watch her grow. Prepare myself To one day Let go. Know it comes quickly. Yesterday - preschool. September - third grade. Such a young lady, From a 7 pound adfable baby. Can't believe How Quick-ly Times flies by From cotton diapers to first year Spanish lessons Snapped my fingers And just like that she grew. So big, no longer child My little girl with her own Sense of style. Her own little Attitude And Person - ality. Watcing her I know here spirit is free. Smart and cute. Dancing around the living room, Shaking her booty. She giggles, I'm laughing And I just can't stop. Never imagined I'd know love like this. Every dream I ever dreamt Started with this special gift. My baby, Came from inside me. That she is and always will be. Gotta warn you all, when it comes to this kid; I got her back. And her front too And will do whatever I gotta do To guarantee my child's safety. So, don't mess with her, Or you'll de dealing with me. Her MOM. And that's all you need to know.
