Fire Madness 2 February 17, 2000Lost and found In a 4 or 5 million dollar home. The best I could do And all I loved, My sweet Sunnyvale ghetto home, Went up in fire and twirling smoke. Now here I sit Dismayed Amazed Not knowing what to think. Yet feeling the sting, as tears roll down my cheeks. Lost and found in a 4 or 5 million dollar home! How life can change, so radically, in the smallest measurement of time. Trapped in the master bath. Drowning my sorrows, loss and past in a Jacuzzi tub built for two with such a glorious, beautiful view. The goddess moon shines her smile On mount Umunhum hills I knew life was ironic, But I guess truly, This is cool. By Mara McWilliams Please note: |
